MAUDSLEY LEARNING AT WORK
Disclosure around mental health in the workplace
Thursday 23 February from 8:45am until 12.00 pm
ORTUS learning and events centre, London
1 in 4 of us are affected by mental health issues in any given year, yet the recent report published by BITC on Mental Health in the Workplace 1, highlighted that almost half of employees said that they would not discuss their mental health with their line manager and less than 4% said they would ask HR for help with a mental health issue.
On Thursday 23rd February from 8.45am Maudsley Learning at Work will be hosting a briefing session in which expert insights will be shared on ‘disclosure around mental health in the workplace’, experience, guidance and how we can help change workplace culture to improve mental health at work for everyone.
The briefing will be followed by a taster session of our world class, facilitated Workplace Mental Health training which is suitable for individuals at all levels within an organisation to understand, manage and promote mental health. The session will finish at 12:00pm.
Register today to benefit from our free workplace mental health training taster session.

Set at the height of roaring 1920’s London, Blackmail tells the story of Alice White (Anna Ondra), the daughter of a Chelsea shopkeeper. After dinner ends in a quarrel with her boyfriend, Scotland Yard detective Frank Webber (John Longden), Alice finds herself at the centre of her very own crime scene. But with her boyfriend on the case, will Alice’s secret stay hidden and does anyone else know about the events of that fateful night..?
St Giles’ organist Ashley Valentine will be accompanying the film on piano with songs by Camberwell Community Choir and a live jazz band. There’ll be a bar and 1920’s costumes are encouraged! Families are welcome although the film is rated PG with a running time of 80mins + 20 minute interval.
