Fantastic News! SE5 Forum for Camberwell has secured funding to continue and expand its community-building programme over the next twelve months.

Building on 20 years of presence in Camberwell, the project targets social isolation, strengthens community cohesion in one of London’s most diverse neighbourhoods, and offers free support during the cost-of-living crisis. Primary activities centre on weekly community engagement at Camberwell Green, free seasonal festivals, wellbeing workshops, and local networking events.

This timely and much needed funding will enable us to deliver;

ℹ️ Our weekly Camberwell Green Stall: Maintaining the Saturday presence to distribute health/wellbeing
maps, share local information and hold conversations with residents.  

🎪 Festivals & Events: A series of free outdoor and indoor community events and festivals.
o Feel Good Programme: Free exercise tasters, health advice and creative wellbeing workshops.
o Eat Around the World Food Festival: Community lunch, children’s games, support to local
food banks and pantries.
o Seasonal & Cultural Events: Our regular Trees and Green Spaces events, Community Christmas and Camberwell Talks evenings.

📣 Community Engagement & Communications: Reaching out to residents via website updates, social
media campaigns, email newsletters and the mobile app Camberwell Life.
