Friends of Brunswick Park was set up in 2010 to give a gem of a South London park a bit of a polish and a helping shoe or two.
FOBP provides opportunities for members of the community to improve and promote the care of Brunswick Park to ensure that the Park is a beautiful, welcoming, safe and enjoyable environment for all.

The Friends of Burgess Park are an association of people and other interested groups who are concerned to protect, promote and enhance an important, inner-city London park. We want the park protected from inappropriate development, inappropriate use and with high regard for protecting the environment and ecology.
We monitor the park boundaries and lobby against development which would reduce the area of the park. As regular users of the park we observe park management and maintenance, and campaign for best practice.

A group for all those who use and value Camberwell Green, a historic small park at a busy crossroads in inner south London. We work towards conserving and enhancing the Green, and provide a forum for Camberwell people to discuss the major redesign that the borough is now implementing (scheduled to be finished by early summer 2016). We welcome comments on the new Camberwell library, on street trees and green spaces in the immediate area (including “pocket spaces”), and on environmental issues such as air pollution. If it happens on or near the Green, we want to know about it!
The Friends of Ruskin Park have, since 1996, ensured our park is well cared for and maintained, and has a planned and healthy future, preserving it for future generations.
Over the years the Friends have extended their reach and involvement as the political and social landscapes have changed. We put on events in the park and became involved with other local organisations and businesses to help with funding.
Government and Council budget reductions mean we have to find new ways of finding funds to continue to care for the park. To do this we liaise closely with Lambeth and all parties with an interest in the park..

Myatt’s Fields Park is a beautiful listed Victorian park which has undergone a £3 million renovation, completed in 2010.
There you can find playground with water play, The Little Cat Cafe, wildlife area, picnic area, tennis courts, all weather football pitch, children’s centre available for birthday party hire, dog exercise area, basketball practice area, community greenhouse and toilets.
It has been proved that people who live near open spaces are happier and healthier, so we want to make the most of that.
