Improving planned orthopaedic care – an event for Lambeth people

The NHS in south east London is trying to improve services for non-emergency patients who have their orthopaedic care (eg hip and kneed replacements) planned in advance.
We are considering changes that might require a formal public consultation.

To inform this we want to speak to specific groups of people – those who are most likely to need orthopaedic care and who could be affected by any changes we might make. We’d like to talk about the changes we are considering – whether there is anything missing, and our approach to consultation. We want to make sure that we do the best we can to get views in so that any future consultation will run well.

This event is for you if you –

  • live in Lambeth and are
  • an older person
  • a disabled person or
  • a carer

We’d like to hear from you too if you have had or think you might need a hip or knee replacement because of problems you are currently facing with your joints, bones, ligaments, tendons, muscles or nerves. We want to improve services for people who have this type of care, planned in advance. Community organisations working directly with these groups in Lambeth are also warmly welcome.

We will explain our ideas and plans at the event, but if you would like to find out more before coming, you can visit the Our healthier South-east London website

Light refreshments will be provided.
Please register for this event here

If you have any queries please phone 020 3049 4444 and ask to speak with a member of NHS Lambeth CCG admin team.

With best wishes and we look forward to seeing you on 30th September.
