This year’s conference will be held between 9am – 5pm on Saturday 15th October 2016 and take place at the William Booth College, Champion Park, London SE5 8BG.

I attach a copy of the programme.

The conference has run for the last seventeen years. It provides residents who live in Southwark council managed properties with an opportunity to meet their peers, council officers, councillors, to discuss and debate key issues affecting their homes.

The theme for this year’s event is the housing crisis in London.

The event programme will include the following:

o             Guest speaker – James Murray – Deputy Mayor of London for Housing and Residential Development

o             Workshops on the following topics: youth Involvement, regeneration, Universal Credit and South London Cares

o             Question Time Debate

o             A ‘market place’ with stalls. Representatives from the council contractors and other service providers will be available in this area

o             Entertainment provided by the Recycled Teenagers dance group.

o             Lunch and raffle
