We are excited to announce that local resident, TV star, actress and presenter Lorraine Chase is supporting our Camberwell Banners crowdfund campaign on Spacehive.

Lorraine says: “As a resident of Camberwell, born and bred, l’m proud to support the Camberwell Banners crowdfund campaign and share the delights of my community to support our wonderful pubs, restaurants and cafes, as well as local businesses.”

Thanks Lorraine!
You can pledge to Camberwell Banners here.

And also thanks to the Mayor of London, who has now awarded our Camberwell Banners campaign with a generous £6,500 donation (more than 50% of our target) from the Crowdfund London scheme, which backs community projects in the capital. Camberwell Banners is only one of two projects in Southwark, and one of 23 in London, to receive matchfunding from the Mayor.

We’re now getting close to our target but we still need your help!
We need to get to £10,712 by 12 August or the project can’t happen.
Please pledge now at: www.spacehive.com/camberwell-banners

Camberwell Banners – by SE5 Forum, Camberwell Arts and Camberwell Society – will install banners from Denmark Hill to Camberwell Green, to encourage visitors down into Camberwell to enjoy our excellent shops, eateries, green spaces and facilities – helping to give a well-needed boost to the high street.

Many thanks to those who’ve already pledged to Camberwell Banners and keep spreading the word. If we go over our target, we can install more banners along Camberwell Church Street and/or Camberwell New Road.
